In 1977, the Starland Vocal Band won a Grammy for Best New Artist on the heels of their hit single “Afternoon Delight.”  The song saw a resurgence in popularity after it was performed in the Will Ferrell movie Anchorman.  Will’s character in the film, Ron Burgundy, sings the song as his way of explaining what love really is to his coworkers.  His fellow cast mates and anchormen join in, including Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) and Champ Kind (David Koechner).   This Afternoon Delight Anchorman shirt was inspired by the legend of Ron Burgundy and his definition of love.  The 70s style design can be purchased on a “rich mahogany” colored tee that will match perfectly with your many leather-bound books.
