Ever since I was a kid, my go to fruit has always been bananas.  My mom always had a plate of them sitting on the kitchen table and still does to this day.  I've probably peeled the trademark Chiquita Banana sticker off thousands of times, sticking it to everything from my plate to the peanut butter jar and even the toaster.  This Chiquita t-shirt displays the company's classic logo that features a woman wearing a hat made of fruit.  "Miss Chiquita," who is now known as Chiquita Banana, was created in 1944 by artist Dik Browne.  Browne is best known for creating the comic strip Hagar the Horrible.  The company first started placing stickers on their bananas in 1963.  They have always been placed by hand to avoid bruising the fruit.  Wear this Chiquita Banana shirt to show off the logo of the United States largest distributor of bananas.
