OtherTees Site Review | Summary:
Contrary to its name, OtherTees features the same types of amazing geek t-shirt designs as its competitors. This includes
Star Wars,
Firefly,
Sherlock,
Harry Potter,
Game of Thrones and of course,
Doctor Who. This is by no means a strike against their company. In fact, their relatively active user community and clean looking site design are allowing them to emerge as a formidable competitor in the world of daily tees. They also hold the title of being the first company based in Poland to offer rotating tee deals.
One area of a concern for customers is that despite OtherTees' often amazing geek shirt designs, they list their printing methods as being both “screen printing” and “DTG printing”, the latter standing for Direct to Garment printing. While both methods have their advantages, some people prefer the quality of screen printing over the newer DTG method. However, it should be noted that they claim to use DTG printing less frequently, and to be honest, I probably have more shirts printed this way than screened (not intentionally) and they both can turn out fantastic. Another reason they might be using DTG is to handle designs with excessive numbers of colors that would be too difficult to screen print.
