More than a decade before Sam Raimi directed Spider-Man, he created his own comic book style hero with the movie Darkman starring Liam Neeson.  The now cult classic 1990 superhero action film is based on a short story that Raimi wrote as a tribute to Universal’s horror movies of the 1930s.  This Darkman shirt displays a design based on a teaser image for the film that asks the question, “Who is Darkman?”  The t-shirt will remind others of scientist Peyton Westlake (Liam Neeson), who finds himself horribly burned and disfigured after being attacked by a ruthless mob boss.  At the hospital, he undergoes a treatment that severs the nerves of the spinothalamic tract so that he no longer feels pain.  As a result, he suffers adrenal overload which gives him increased strength, allowing him to singlehandedly take on the mobsters who ruined his life.
