For travelers making their way through Greenbow, Alabama, there is no better place to stop for the night than the Gump House.  The boarding house run by Forrest’s mother was usually full of people coming and going, some staying much longer than others.  This Gump House shirt displays the signage for the home, which is nearly identical to that seen in the movie.  Under the name is the phrase, “Rooms to let,” which means that the house has rooms to let out.  The actual South Carolina home was built hastily for the movie and had to be torn down after filming because it wasn’t up to code.  If you want to keep the welcoming spirit of Forrest’s mother’s home alive, this Gump House t-shirt is the perfect way to do it.
