With the news that Hostess Brands Inc. is going out of business, Twinkie fans are quickly clearing supermarket shelves in an attempt to stockpile the popular cream filled cakes.  A White House petition has even emerged asking the President to save the Twinkie industry (sorry folks, that's not how the free market system works).  Don't worry, there are already homemade Twinkie recipes appearing online, in addition to Hostess Twinkie shirts and costumes that will allow you to express your love for the spongy treats.  As you might expect, individuals looking to make a quick buck have even begun posting boxes of Twinkies on eBay, with some listed for more than $100.  It's still possible that Twinkies could reappear since Hostess can sell the rights to other food companies.  We can only hope.  For now, we'll have to make do with Hostess Twinkie costumes and t-shirts like the one featured here.
