It might be a surprise to some to learn that fashion designer Edna Mode was actually voiced by The Incredibles writer and director Brad Bird. The short, half-Japanese, half-German superhero costume designer's appearance and personality has been compared to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. In one memorably humorous scene, she advises the superhero family in the movie against the notion of wearing capes. The Incredibles Edna shirt displayed here features her quote, "No capes!"
