Based on the fantasy novel by Michael Ende, The NeverEnding Story movie takes us along for the ride on a young boy’s journey into a fantasy world.  It begins when Bastian Bux borrows a mysterious book from a local bookstore.  Hiding in his school’s attic, he cracks open the book’s pages and is consumed by the unfolding adventure contained therein.  The NeverEnding Story shirt displayed here features a design that shows the luckdragon named Falkor, who saves the book’s young hero, Atreyu, from drowning in a swamp.  The two become allies, with Atreyu riding on the back of the luckdragon Falkor throughout the world of Fantasia.  This Falkor t-shirt displays an image of the dragon, reminding us of Atreyu’s epic journey.
