The ABC Pan Am TV show soared onto the small screen in 2011 and has landed rave reviews. It is a period drama inspired by the jet setting lives of the real Pan American Airlines stewardesses of the sixties.  The series stars Christina Ricci (Maggie), Margot Robbie (Laura), Kelli Garner (Kate) and Karine Vanasse (Collete).   It was a era when flying was still fashionable and the women who flew were envied by all.  These lovely ladies, outfitted in their classy Pan Am costumes, were privileged to see the world at a time when flying was considered an expensive novelty and few women made the cut.  Snag this Pan Am shirt if you wish flying was not the hassle it is now but rather an experience to be enjoyed like it used to be.
