First appearing in the 2005 Doctor Who episode "The Empty Child," Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) went on to become the main character in the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood.  This Jack Harkness t-shirt is a tribute to the time traveler and the circumstances surrounding his first encounter with the Doctor.  After being responsible for inadvertently releasing a plague in 1941 London, Captain Jack makes up for it by taking an unexploded bomb into his ship.  This Captain Jack shirt depicts that scene, which ended with the Doctor and Rose rescuing him seconds before the bomb explodes.
