If you're a fan of horror movies and you're open to the greatness of classic films, then you're undoubtedly familiar with the work of actor Vincent Price. This t-shirt features a portrait of the actor with the phrase "the thriller..." overtop, a reference to his voice work on Michael Jackson's Thriller album, where he performs an ominous monologue during the album's title track. "...for no mere mortal can resist, the evil of The Thriller." Most people don't realize that Price, a graduate of Yale whose grandfather built the family's fortune by inventing the first cream of tartar baking powder, started his career as a character actor, not in horror movies.  His transition to horror begin with the 1939 Boris Karloff film Tower of London. As his film work began to fade in the 1970s, his voice work continued for several more decades.  Vincent Price's characteristic voice can be heard in everything from Scooby-Doo to Tim Burton's 1982 short film Vincent.  He also appeared as the inventor in Tim Burton's 1990 film Edward Scissorhands, Price's last significant film role. This shirt pays tribute to the man with the voice.
